One day, police came into the store of Mr. Gordon and confiscated much merchandise based on some trumped-up charges. A minute after the police left the store Rabbi Kramer surprisingly walked in. He reassured Mr. Gordon, saying, “This is no time to cry. You must be strong and bounce back”. He gave him a few more minutes of chizuk (reassurance) and then gave him $50, saying, “This is to get started again”.
He started again with renewed vigor, with much success.
He never used the $50 dollars, however, opting instead to cherish it on his mantelpiece.
